From Dr. Walker!!! All students must be in dress code, especially when wearing shorts. They cannot be too short or too baggy!!!!


You are to park in your assigned parking spot. Failure to do so can result in loss of parking privileges at Westfield High School. You must report parking issues with Ms. Branch’s office before school so that they can resolve the situation.

Students- if you have make up hours for attendance we will be having 8 hour d halls on Saturdays from now till the end of school. There are 3 Saturdays for those 8 hour d halls between now and the end of the year. We will NOT have any Saturday d hall on May 24th due to the holiday....don't procrastinate...take care of it now....don't get any more absences so you don't have to make up more.

If you are interested in playing tennis next year, there will be tryouts for all 10th and 11th grade students on May 13 and 14 from 3:00 to 4:30 at the tennis courts. You need a current physical form and a racket to tryout. See coach Stoltz in room 2100 for more information

JUNIORS, Ms Lechel still has a couple spots open for senior class officers for 2009. If you want to be involved with you senior year's activities and will be able to make a full commitment, come and sign up. Requirements include terrific ideas and ability to follow through. You will need to meet a grade requirement and discipline check. Room 1129. Make your mark in 2009.

Attention Sophomores!
It is time to order your class ring! The Balfour Company will be on campus for a special Class Ring night Tuesday, May 13th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the Front Foyer of the school. Regular class ring order days will be Wednesday and Thursday, May 14th and 15th during lunch periods in the cafeteria. A $60.00 deposit is needed to place your order. Don’t forget to order on any of these dates and take advantage of the special promotions!!

If you are interested in trying out for the Royal Duchess Step-team come by the college and career center to pick up a packet.

Attention all Westfield students! Do you love to dance? Want to learn new styles or brush up on your moves? If so, you need to come to the Xclusive dance Team Hip-Hop Workshop! The workshop begins Monday May 12 through May 15 from 3-5 pm. Come see Ms. White in the College and Career Center to sign up!

NFL Members: come by Room 1324 ASAP to sign up for our banquet at the Potato Patch Restaurant on May 14th from 6:30PM to 9:30PM. The cost is $15 per person and due no later than TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Attention all track athletes: the track banquet will be held on May 20, 2008 in the WHS cafeteria. Please see Coach Strickland or Coach Smith if you plan on attending. We need a count of who will be attending by May 16.


There will be a Spanish National Honor Society meeting next Tuesday May 13th after school in room 299. Please plan to attend.







The Westfield Choral Department invites you to their annual Variety Show next Friday, May 16, in the PAC. Pre-sale tickets are on sale during all lunches for $3.00. Ticket price at the door is $5.00.
