I am thrilled to say my entire teaching career has been here at Winship Elementary. I became a Wildcat in August of 1995 after earning my degree from Sam Houston State University. For the last 12 years I have been privileged to teach with, and learn from, the most outstanding educators. That's why being recognized as Winship's teacher of the year is such an honor to me. Over the years I have taught Pre-first, Kindergarten, First Grade and I am currently teaching Second Grade. I have made many meaningful friendships along the way, and met many people who will forever be inspirations to me not only as a teacher, but as a parent as well.

I am honored to have been chosen as Rookie Teacher of the Year. I am very fortunate to work with such experienced and caring staff.

I am a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University. I started at Winship in April 2006 as a long term substitute. I realized very quickly that I wanted to stay. The supportive staff and loving children have made it easy to call Winship home.
