I began studying Spanish in college with the sole intent of meeting my biology degree requirements. I enjoyed it so much that I continued on for a 2nd semester. A year later, I had the opportunity to travel in South America & went for it. Upon my return, I decided to add Spanish as a minor to my undergraduate degree plan. The following semester, I did a study abroad program in Guatemala, & have been studying & travelling ever since.
This is my 10th year in public education. I started out teaching elementary bilingual education. Three years ago, when I was ready for a change & a new challenge, I made the switch to high school. This is my first year in the district & at Spring HS, & I'm looking forward to a fabulous year to come! |
