Welcome to the Technical Theatre program of Spring High School. My name is Tom Boone and I am excited to be teaching Technical Theatre at Spring High School.
I have six Technical Theatre classes. Fourth Period is my conference period.

Tutorial times vary depending on our rehearsal schedule. They are now being held on Tuesday and Thursday (except 10/22 will be 10/23) from 2:30-3:15 until Thansgiving.
Technical Theatre classes are first and foremost Theatre classes. We read and analyze plays and study design fundamentals and techniques. Technical Theatre students are involved in building the scenery and props, executing the lighting and sound, and costumes for our two mainstage, two black box and UIL One Act Play productions. If it is on stage and it isn't acting, Technical Theatre students did it! Technical Theatre is a full year elective which satisfies the Fine Arts requirement for graduation.
Our auditorium is being renovated and a new scene shop and dressing rooms are being constructed. Because of this, we are currently studying theatre in a traditional classroom setting. We are looking forward to using our new facilities in the Spring!
