RECORDS WERE SET |
 | |
Attendance for Cinderella was wildly successful! In fact, we enjoyed the largest audiences for a children's show since we have been keeping records!
As I have stated time and again, Children's Theatre can be a technical nightmare, and Cinderella was no exception. All the bells and whistles were included. We used wireless microphones on the key characters, blacklights, Wildfire paint, mirror ball, smoke machine, and some magic tricks to make the show as magical as possible for the children. I was very pleased with the final product.

The center unit of the set rotated on a pivot to reveal three different settings. The statue, the carriage, and the vendor carts were props we created for the show.

The staue in the back is a prop we built specifically for this show. It has nothing to do with the story, but I felt it gave the setting a feeling of royal presence. He was constructed with a manaquin, some scrap fabric, crepe hair, and lots of polyvynil glue.
