As has been the case for the past several years, I wanted to close the Season with a "Texas" play. I am so pleased to have found Christmas Belles. It is the companion play to Dearly Beloved that we did last year in this slot. What fun it was to revisit the train wreck that is Fayro, Texas and the Futrelle sisters. I can not think of a better way to go into retirement! The final performance was followed by a reception arranged by my colleagues and featured many former students. Some came from great distances. I was very touched.
