The contest this year was held at Klein High School on March 19, during our Spring Break. The show did not advance to the next level, but we were proud to receive four acting and one technician award. The play was given a final performance on March 25 in our auditorium. We attempted to put a new twist on the age old classic by Shakespeare. The decision was made to make the "fairies" into "ravers" and the "wood" into a "rave party". All of the "enchanted" scenes were done under very low ligh levels with blacklights for effect. A lot of Wildfire paint was used on costumes and props. Unfortunately, the effects that were so breath taking in performance simply do not show up for the camera. I wish there was a way that I could show them to you effectively.
