The following standardized dress guidelines will be implemented at Thompson Elementary.

All students will conform to standardized dress code.
Assistance will be provided to families who are truly in need and cannot afford to purchase the required dress code. This assistance will be provided through the PTO, Student Activity Account, and donations from community supporters.

Parents, who are opposed to their children participating in the standardized dress program, must submit a legitimate religious objection or philosophical objection in writing to the principal. The principal will discuss the objection with the parent and make a decision.

The look of standardized dress at Thompson Elementary will be:

Tops in solid RED, WHITE, BLUE, NAVY BLUE, or YELLOW ONLY. They may be with or without collars. Logos may not exceed 2” x 2”. Tops cannot have trim around the collar or sleeve that is a different color from the tops.

Bottoms in solid BLUE DENIM, KHAKI, or NAVY BLUE ONLY!. Pants, Shorts, Skirts, or Jumpers are acceptable. Bottoms should not have trim, flowers, or designs of any type, shape or size.
