Welcome to Susan Stromblad's Athletic Training WebPage. A little about me...
I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from Westminster College in Fulton, MO. I took a year off to travel and work with the Arena Football League as a host Athletic Trainer. I then took a position at the University of Kansas as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. I was primarily in charge of Track and Field, and worked secondarily with the Football and Men's Beasektball teams. I earned my Master's Degree in Sports Administration during my tenure at Kansas. After two years at the Division I level, I thought I would try Texas for a change. I moved to San Antonio and took a position at a high school. I spent the year there and found that I really enjoyed the high school level. I met my fiance and moved to Houston to start our life together and took this position. I love Spring High School and I am really enjoying having Athetic Training Classes.
The Atheltic Training course will provide education in First Aid, CPR, Anatomy, injuries, treament, and rehabilitation. Students in this class are on the Sports Medicine team and will work with the Football teams as well as a second sport. Students can earn a letter jacket as a memeber of this team. It is a lot of work- but even more fun!!! |
