Access America for Students - A government wide web portal that makes it easy for students to find any kind of federal service or information they need. The U.S. Dept. of Education is coordinating with other federal agencies to provide this “one-stop-shop” giving students access to information about financial aid, career development, education planning, consumer protection, and a wide variety of other topics.

EDGAR: Database of Corporate Information - U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission 10-Ks and other Electronic filings.
Fedworld.gov - Contains the full text of 7,407 Supreme Court Decisions from 1937 to 1975.
Find Law - Find every law in the land, and every state and federal court decision that is available on the Web free.
FirstGov.gov - This site is the information portal for the US Federal Government. It serves as the “first resource to find any government information on the Internet”. Users can brouse for information using the search engine or browse by the branch of government; by Interesting Topics; or by Features Subjects which highlight interesting and timely information. There are links to state and local government information.

Landmark Cases - Developed to help students explore key issues of each landmark case.
Legal Engine - A great starting point to legal info on the Web. Includes federal, state and international law, courts, a legal dictionary, search by topic, rules, forms, international governments, world virtual museums, historic documents and several law search engines. Find every law internationally.
National Council for the Social Studies - An information service for educators from the National Council for the Social Studies.
Supreme Court Historical Society - Gives information about the history of the court and how the court works.

Window on State Government - Texas - Comptroller John Sharp’s creation. Info on taxes, government, economy, statistics, etc.
Federal Election Commission - The commission oversees the election process in the United States, making sure all’s fair. This site lets you “follow the money” for the major candidates, scan the country’s federal election calendar and learn how to research public records.
