Science for the TAKS |
Welcome to the Spring High School Science TAKS Review. There are basically two courses that are tested on the 10th and 11th Grade Science TAKS tests; IPC, and Biology. You may download a copy of the State of Texas Objectives for the TAKS Science Test from the link below.
To use the links below, you must have power point on your computer. These are intended as information for review of the large concepts for the TAKS test, this is not a comprehensive review. There are two TAKS Dr. Power Points that go question by question through the 2006 Released tests for 10th Grade and Exit Level. |

TAKS Tutorial Classes |
Tutorials will be offered before each testing opportunity for seniors and graduating juniors.
Tutorials for all students will be offered after Spring Break by TAKS Objective to provide review for the May test.
Seniors who have not yet passed TAKS Science are to be enrolled in a TAKS Science Lab. These are taught by Mr. Lynch and Ms. Nichols. They are specifically focused upon the information, identified by previous tests, in which the student had difficulty. These courses are self-paced and student work intensive. For more information, check with your student's counselor. |

This is a question by question look at the 2006 April Test for Science. It will explain the correct answer and also why the other answers are not correct. You should go to the TEA web site, and print a copy of the science test, take it, and then use this power point to help you with the questions you missed. Good luck!! |

Perry Homes Academic Success Student Tutorial Program |
