I teach Art I, Advanced Art I, and Drawing II, III, and IV Honors. This is my 10th year at Spring High School and my 20th year of teaching. I have taught art at the elementary, middle school, high school, and college levels. I love sharing the joy of creating beautiful and powerful art with my students. Creating art is truly a fulfilling experience; it demands our full participation – intellectual, emotional, and physical. I want my students to reach their fullest potential in art, and to reach that goal, I stress the fundamentals of drawing, composition, craftsmanship, and perseverance. I teach art as a serious subject, maintaining high standards for my students, knowing that they will be rewarded with the results of their work and with the satisfaction of accomplishment. And that's a lot of fun!
