My name is Ms. Melanie Scott, and I will be your English III teacher for the 2007-2008 school year. My teaching profession began in the Spring district many years ago at Twin Creeks Middle School. From there, I have taught high school in Louisiana, as well as the Humble and Katy areas. I'm very pleased to be back with my original 'family.'

I look forward to a productive and creative year with you. My classes cover all six areas important for the 'English III experience.' Those areas are literature (of course!), grammar, composition, speaking, listening, and independent thinking.

Your junior year in English focuses on preparation for the Exit Level TAKS test which you must pass in order to graduate from Spring High School.
