My name is Melissa Sanders. I have been a faculty member here at SHS since fall 2007. I graduated from SHSU with a double major in Economics and Computer Science, with a minor in Computer Graphics. I have played tennis for almost fifteen years, including the club team at SHSU. I look forward to the up-coming 2008-2009 school year.

Communication Graphics is a one year course that will count for technology credit. Through the year, students will work with many different programs.

Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator are the major applications that is used in the course. The student will work with digital images to enhance and correct, along with drawing and creating artwork of their own.

Tennis is a two season year. We play team tennis in the fall and individual tennis in the spring. I have played competitive tennis for approx. ten years and taught at local tennis clubs and organizations. I look forward to the up coming season here at SHS.

Teen Leadership is developed to teach self-discipline and making the students personally responsible for their own actions, attitudes and behaviors.
