Welcome to a new and exciting year in Fourth Grade. Thank you for visiting my webpage. I will try to keep the information up-to-date so you are aware of what is happening in our class. 

    Let me introduce myself. My name is Melva Evans and I am beginning my 6th year as part of the Smith Elementary family, but part of education for 8 years. I attended the University of Houston-Downtown where I obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. Later, I attended the University of Houston receiving a Masters of Education in Elementary Education. I have also obtained my ESL Certification to help reach the needs of all students.
