Letters of recommendation are important to add to college and scholarship applications. Letters should add information about the student that is not found on the application or in the essay(s). Students need to ask themselves: Who knows me the best? It can be a teacher, administrator, coach, supervisor, neighbor or religious leader. It should not be a family member. Adequate time is also necessary. All CWHS staff need at least 2 weeks advanced notice to write a letter of recommendation. Please print the attached "Student Brag Sheet" and give it to the person writing the letter of recommendation.

The attached "Parent Brag Sheet" is not mandatory, but it provides additional information that is helpful to the person writing the recommendation. Parents may complete this form and have their child staple it to the "Student Brag Sheet" (see previous link).
