Thank you for taking the time to read our web page. Second grade is a fun year and we learn so many new and fun concepts. If you click on the links at the top, you will see the different subjects and a brief description of the curriculum for each subject. I will try to keep everything current and will be adding new links throughout the year. I am so excited to be a 2nd grade teacher. My son is in 2nd grade here at Smith as well.

Here is some information about me....I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University. This is my 6th year at Smith Elementary. I taught 3rd grade here as well as 2nd. I have been a teacher for ten years! Time flies by when you are having fun.
