SHS Math - Math Models
Welcome!

Each student has a textbook and should bring it to class.

In Math Models our grades will come from two categories:
30% Daily Work
70% Assessments (Tests, Quizzes, Projects, etc)

Expect a progress report from me every three weeks with details of each assignment your student has turned in.

To succeed in Math Models I would suggest your student spend more time on homework, studying for tests, preparing for class, and asking questions. I am available for help after school until 3:00pm most days and am happy to make extra tutoring arrangements if we can find a good time. During class is also a great time to ask me questions. I am here to help.

Thank you for your support. I hope together we can improve your student's scores and understanding in the class. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to discuss this further, e-mail is the fastest way to communicate if you have it.

Supplies:
Something to take notes on (binder, spiral, etc.)
Something to take notes with (pencil, pen…)
Optional: Calculator – preferably a graphing calculator
Optional: Tissues for classroom use

Sincerely,

Karen Branch
