Hello! My name is Jennifer Smith. I graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School in 1991. I received a BS in Information Systems Technology from The University of Houston in 1995. My husband and I live in Conroe with our 3 children. We have a 6 year old little girl and twins that were born April 13, 2004 (a boy and a girl). I came to Westfield High School in January of 1998. Since then I have taught Keyboarding/Word Processing, Recordkeeping, BCIS I, and Web Mastering. I currently teach Web Mastering and Recordkeeping.

In Web Mastering, the students are exposed to the Internet and its proper use. The students learn how to use a search engine to find different items on the Internet. They will also learn how to create and edit their own web page. The students learn how to write the code using HTML as well as how to create web pages in FrontPage 2002 and Dreamweaver MX.

In Recordkeeping the students learn about consumer credit, personal financial management, and time management.
