The objective for this class is to "provide individuals and families with essential knowledge and skills for managing the challenges of living and working in a diverse, global society. Individuals utilize these skills to enhance career and personal effectiveness, promote family strength and well-being, and pursue career options."

The following sewing supplies will be needed by Thursday October .
Each student will need 1 and 1/2 yards of fabric if they are 5' 3" or shorter or 2 yards of fabric if they are taller than 5' 3".
Scissors (3-5 inches)
2 small spools thread to match fabric
stuffing
hand needles (2)
straight pins

OPTIONAL:
seam ripper
tape measure
thimble

Buy material that is cotton or cotton-polyester. Do not spend more than $3.99 per yard.

Each student got a list of supplies and saw examples the week before finals.

Students without these supplies will do written assignments for their grades.
