Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year in Second Grade! This year we will be having tons of fun working together to be the best we can be!

In 2nd Level, it is our priority to make sure each child is academically and socially successful and treated with respect by everyone. We also believe that a safe and fun environment is the best place for this to happen. Our curriculum is packed with activities and objectives to help us achieve these goals. The second level team includes five teachers this year, Steva Flowers - team leader, Dawn Guevara, Monica Kaiser, Amanda Short and Jennifer Vannoy. We all will be using Tribe's activities in our classrooms to help make a positive learning environment. Our conference time is 10:25-11:15. Please be aware second grades eats lunch at 1:00 p.m. You may send a small, HEALTHY snack with your child. Teachers will not be able to prepare your child's snack, such as peel an orange, or provide eating utensils for them. Please contact us if you have any questions.

We welcome your child to our class and are very excited to have them in our Wildcat family. However, we want to get them home safely to you, so please make sure your child knows how they are going home each day. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's teacher. Thanks!
