This is currently my nineteenth year of teaching in Texas. I attended Texas Tech University where I earned a Bachelors of Music in Composition and a Masters of Music in Conducting. Prior to working in Spring ISD I taught for twelve years in Lubbock and Amarillo. I am an active arranger and a published composer. I hold membership in The American Society of Authors, Composers, and Publishers (ASCAP), The International Association of Jazz Educators, The Texas Music Educators Association, The Texas Bandmasters Association, and The Texas Music Adjudicators Assocication. My wife Alice, teaches third grade at Smith Elementary, and my son Alex is currently an eighth grader at Twin Creeks Middle School. I feel blessed and honored to teach music in the Spring ISD.
