I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was raised and educated in Oregon. I have been a librarian since 1976 after seven years in the classroom as a first grade teacher. I taught two years in Oregon, and three years in the Canal Zone in Panama. Therefore, I came north to Texas!

Library hours:

8:00-3:00 daily

Understand their reason for coming to the library.
Have all necessary materials.
Have a library pass.

Enter the library quietly.
Sit as directed.
Computers are for library use, no games.
Books are kept pulled out to the front of the shelf.
Use a "book buddy."
K and 1 can check out one book per visit.
2 through 5 can check out two books per visit (one must be a Fiction book for leisure reading, the second book can be a book of the student's choice.)
