Silent Sustained Reading |
Every student in 8th grade is required to read a prescribed number of pages per six weeks. Students will be given 30 to 60 minutes a week in class to read, but most reading will be done at home. Students are to record their daily reading progress on their SSR reading log. The reading log, along with proof of reading, will count as a TEST grade each six weeks. Page requirements can be found by accessing the SSR Information downloads.
