Dear Parents/Guardians:

Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year at Spring! I am honored to be your child's teacher. I have worked in Houston teaching for over eleven years and I am delighted to be part of your school community.

I ask that you take a vital role in your child's learning whether it be checking progress via Parent Connect, emailing me at dsulli1@springisd.org or calling the school. With your support and help, we can both make this year memorable, fun, and enriching for your child.

The appropriate materials for this class are a binder with tabs and paper or a 5 subject notebook with built in folders. I would hope by now your child has informed you of the importance of having these materials daily.

The Glencoe Literature book will be checked out by your child after September 25th due to the storm Ike and time allotment needed.

I am late in writing my initial letter to you and for that, I apologize. I grant you all are safe, well, and with electricity after a long delay from Ike's devastation.
