Hello, welcome to Communication Graphics and Engineering Principles. My name is Daryl Ladner and I enjoy teaching and coaching. I have been teaching these two classes and coaching golf for the past seven years.

New students to Comm. Graphics will not only learn design and lay out skills, but will also have an opportunity to work with several excellent graphics software programs. Software programs available to us include MS Publisher, MS Front Page, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator,and Adobe Premiere. I enjoy computer graphics whether its line art, photo editing, video editing, or using design and layout principles for eye catching graphics.

Engineering Principles class will become familiar with and survey the various fields of engineering. Through internet research students will gather information on the educational requirements, training requirements, and job specifics of all types of engineers. Students will cmpare the different salary ranges, occupational outlook, and what kind of role technology plays in each field of engineering. Students will also use a AutoCad drawing progam for design work, and a engineering activity textbook called "Technology--Design and Applications" for student engineering projects.
