8th Grade Science TEKS 2009-2010

The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, or TEKS, are put together by the Texas Education Agency and establish what every 8th Grader needs to know by the time they finish 8th grade. These objectives are assessed through the TAKS test taken in the Spring months.
This year (2009-2010) we will still be teaching the objectives approved in 1998.

Next year (2010-2011) we will be teaching the objectives recently approved by the State Board of Education.
