AP Steps
Steps to earn college credit through an AP course.
1. Sign up for the AP course.
2. Pay to take the test at the end of the course.
3. Make a certain score on the test that the college you wish to attend will accept.
4. There is no guarantee that your college will award credit for the AP class.
5. Credit is awarded based on the score that you get on the AP exam.
6. The higher the score the more college credit that is awarded.

Bridge Partnership
10th grade students
Take the Compass Test (College Readiness Level Placement Test) for Free
Work Closely with LSC North Harris advisors to make sure that you are prepared for life after high school.

Accelerated College Program
Sign up 10th grade year.
Start taking 3 classes per semester at Lone Star College North Harris during the school day.
Gain College and High School Credit at the same time.
Possibly graduate High School with 30 or more college credit hours.
