In the Westfield 9th Grade Center Special Services department we have made a committment to our secondary students with special needs and learning disabilities. It is our responsibility as educators to prepare special service students to meet the special challenges that they will face both academically and socially.

Making sure that students are working to their fullest potential and giving their best effort when it comes to the mastery of certain academic and social skill sets. We have in place the resources that students will need in order to prosper and experience the kind of success that we are preparing them to accomplish once they graduate high school.

you will find that the teachers in the Special Services Department are among the most dedicated and hard-working in the entire district. The ability to work within what can often times can be difficult circumstances can often get the better of a lesser teacher but Special Services teachers are always going the extra mile.
