Second Nine Weeks |

During the second nine weeks, we have started Guided Reading and Reading Mastery groups. The focus for second grade readers is on comprehension and being able to verbally retell a story with a clear beginning, middle and end. |

During the second nine weeks, we are focusing on place value. The students will be learning to compare numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least. They will also be using comparison symbols such as =, >, & <. |
