BCIS (Business Computer Information Systems) is probably the most useful computer class in any school. All students need to know how to use software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. These softwares are used in every type job imaginable. In high school and college, the students will use these softwares to write reports, make charts, create presentations, create a database, etc. When they get a job, they will probably use these softwares in some form or fashion. Learning to use Microsoft Office is a vital skill that everyone can benefit from.

In BCIS, we will be working with Microsoft Office all year. We will take approximately 1 six week period learning Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. We will also have simulations that will incorporate each software learned.
