We will be reading novels and out of a basal reader all through the year. Encourage your child to read at home because we do have reading minutes due on Fridays and reading will help them in every subject.
Lots of writing goes on in 4th since we take the writing TAKS test in March. We write everyday. It may not always be a complete story, but there is writing.
