Mr. Gonzales is the assistant band director at Twin Creeks Middle School. He is in his fifth year of teaching. Mr. Gonzales' responsibilities are to teach the beginning woodwind classes, direct the Concert and Varsity Bands, and assist with the Symphonic Band. Mr.Gonzales previously taught at Humble Middle School in Humble ISD. Mr. Gonzales' bands have received sweepstakes, best in class, and superior ratings at UIL and festival competitions.
He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. While at SHSU, Mr. Gonzales studied under Mr. Matthew McInturf, Dr. Patricia Card, and Chester Rowell. While in college, he taught private lessons in Clear Creek ISD, Aldine ISD, and Klein ISD.
Mr. Gonzales lives with his beautiful wife Kim, son Evan and two dogs, Buttercup and Miles. His hobbies include softball, working out, riding bikes, watching movies (comedies), hanging out with family and friends, and just getting out of the house to do something fun.
