What a great age to learn Music!! As many of you know, learning music is one of the great disciplines in life. It is also one of the great joys. We are so fortunate to have your child join the Twin Creeks Band. There are many expectations when learning a new instrument, both for the student and the parent.
Parents, at first you will hear some interesting sounds coming from your childs instrument. By the time the Christmas concert arrives, those "sour" notes you heard before will become "sweet" sounds to you ears. Please continue to encourage your child to practice everyday for we will be having chair challenges and chair test every week.
Students, our goal in life is to succeed! Music gives us that opportunity to witness success first hand. Practice is the key ingredient for your success in band and in life. Continue to practice and never give up, and you will see the benefits in your playing and also others will notice your hard work!!

Important Note for parents: We believe that it is important for you to listen to your child perform every week.
