Governor’s Educator Excellence Award |
Cooper Elementary has received the Governor's Educator Excellence Award. Cooper met the initial requirement of ranking within the top half of campuses statewide with the highest percentages of educationally disadvantaged students enrolled based on their performance on the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills. Schools must be rated Exemplary, Recognized or score in the top ten percent of their comparison group in reading and/or math based on the state assessment. | | |

Cooper Elementary will prepare, empower, and produce lifelong learners who exhibit appropriate social skills and achieve academic success.
We believe that:
1. A partnership between the home and the school must exist.

3. The commitment of each staff member to grow professionally is essential to the development of our students.
4. All students can learn and no child will be left behind.
5. All school personnel will model positive character traits.
