Dear Parents,

Welcome to my third grade class.
I am privileged to have your children in my class.

This is my 36th year of teaching. I have spent 33 years of my career with Spring ISD teaching at Jenkins Elementary and Salyers Elementary. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the College of New Rochelle in New York, and a Masters of Science degree in Elementary Reading Education from Long Island University, also in New York.

I have taught all grade levels from 1st through 8th grade, and Tier IV classes as well. This year is my fourth year to be teaching 3rd grade. My Co-Teacher is Mrs. Amy Haaland.

Reading: Your children should be reading at home for at least 20 minutes every night. They may read library books or borrow books from my personal classroom collection.
