Keyboarding

First Six Weeks

During the first six weeks the students learn to touch type using correct posture. I encourage each student to practice their keyboarding skills at home using good posture.

Second Six Weeks

During the second six weeks, the students learn the number and symbol keys. The students will begin taking three minute timings during the 2nd and 3rd six weeks. The students will begin producing documents such as centering jobs, memos and letters.

Third Six Weeks

During the third six weeks, the students finish up their letters unit and learn how to type tables and reports.
