(Summary)Tally is a normal Ugly living in Uglyville. She's about to turn 16 and into a Pretty. She soon meets Shay, who's exactly as old as she is. Shay soon runs away because she doesn't want to turn into a Pretty! Tally's blackmailed into finding where Shay ran off to, the Smoke, and soon Tally's living there too, and liking it. But then Special Circumstances arrive and ruin the Smoke. What will Tally do, whose side will she take?

One day, Edgar and Ellen are in the Junkyard behind their house and overhear a planby the Mayor to build a fancy new hotel in its place. Edgar and Ellen devise a plan to stop him while uncovering a strange, secret going on in the underground.

(Summary) A boy named Eragon finds a dragon egg and is thrown into a battle against an evil king named Galbatorix.

(Comment) This book is a good mixture of fantasy and action. If you like Harry Potter books, [and] suspense books...I truly recommend it. ...Glenn (6th grade)

(Comment) If you don't want to read something scary, don't read this book. Read this book if you want mystery, suspense, and an evil villain....Tran (7th grade)

The Clique(realistic) by Lisa Harrison |
(Recommendation): GREAT
(Summary) When Massie's Dad's friend comes to stay temporarily with them, Claire, their daughter, comes too. Massie makes Claire's life a living nightmare. Will they evrey be friends, or will she always be left out of the clique?
(Quotable Quote) "Is this a Barbeque?" asked Massie. "No" answered Isaac. "Then why are you all up in my grill?"
(Comment) For girls especially. Those who are in cliques. Also those who feel left out. I think this is a great book. Make sure to read the series...Alejandra (7th grade)

(Recommendation): EXCELLENT
(Summary): Edward has left Forks, and Bella is trying to stop thinking about him. But when the wrong thing is said, she has to fly across the world to save the one she loves most.

(Comment) I think this book is excellent. Stephenie Meyer paints a picture right inside my head....Taylor (7th grade)
