Home of the Patriot Star Polishers!
The visual representation for our motto is the shooting star. The image of a star links us to the past as our earliest ancestors used the stars to guide their journeys. The star image links us to the future as we commit ourselves to the exploration of this final frontier. When we look at the stars, we are reminded to dream large for ours is a universe of opportunity. When we look at the stars, we associate these heavenly bodies with high academic achievement for mathematicians, physicists, and astronomers used the stars to chart new worlds. When we look at the stars, we learn to appreciate the beauty that they are, and the beauty that they have inspired in language, in art, and in culture. The stars are our guide, our motivation, and our inspiration. We, the Patriots, will reach for them! In doing so we will stretch ourselves physically, intellectually, and spiritually.
