I am so excited to be a Beneke Bear. The 2007-2008 school year is packed full of exciting events as we plan to move to an exemplary status. There are a lot of new faces and we look forward to meeting each of you. My experience in education started at Westfield High School where I taught computer programming students. I continued my teaching experience at Spring High School. I have been an administrator in Spring ISD for the past 7 years. Just a bit of trivia: I attended Spring Elementary, Wunsche Middle School and graduated from Spring High School. I have pretty deep roots!

My passion is working with children to build an educational foundation and helping each child understand its value!

I have been a teacher here at Beneke for 16 years. I taught First Grade for 12 years and Third Grade for 4 years. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the Beneke community as an Assistant Principal. The 2007-08 year will be the best as we "turn up the heat" striving for that Exemplary rating.

A little personal trivia: I have lived in Illinois, Connecticut, New Jersey and Minnesota. My husband of 33 years and I moved to Texas in 1986. We have two children, a boy and a girl who both attend college in Minnesota. I love the weather in Texas but love to travel "up north" to see family whenever I can.
