Procedures for Visiting Bammel Elementary |
Parents are always welcome to visit Bammel Elementary. Visits to individual classrooms during instructional time shall be permitted only with a principal's or assistant principal’s approval and such visits shall not be permitted if their duration or frequency interferes with the delivery of instruction or disrupts the normal school environment. Those visits can be more beneficial for everyone if the following guidelines are observed: |
| |
• We have a visitor tracking system here at Bammel. This system requires that you bring your driver’s license or identification card with you each time you visit the school. Please do not be offended when we ask you each time you come for your identification. We do this to ensure the safety of our Bammel Bulldogs. |
| |
• Please call in advance to schedule a visit to ensure that the visit does not conflict with testing, supervision responsibilities or some other scheduled activity.
• Please make other arrangements for pre-school children rather than bringing them for the visit. The school does not have child care facilities and the activities of pre-schoolers distract students, teachers and parents.
• There are no provisions for school-age friends or relatives of district students to visit Spring ISD schools. |

Birthday Treats! |
If you would like your child to celebrate their birthday at school, you may bring a store-bought cake or cupcakes for your child's class. We do ask that you notify your child's teacher before the special occasion. The treats can only be given to the students 30 minutes AFTER lunch is over. This is a State policy, not a district or campus decision. The state still encourages non-edible treats such as pencils or erasers for classmates on special occasions. Please help us as this make this state policy work at Bammel! |
