The Chess club is for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. It meets every Monday (starting September 18th) from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Art room. Students must have a signed Chess Club Registration form to be able to stay. Parents must pick up their child no later than 4:00 p.m. in the front of the school.

Student Council is for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. Two students, who exemplify excellent skills in the area of academics and conduct are chosen from each homeroom. We will meet the last Tuesday of each month in Mrs. Mixa's classroom. from 3:30 to 4:15 pm (starting September 25). We will develop leadership skills, participate in various school and community projects, and have fun.

The Science Club is for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. We will meet the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3:15-4:00 p.m. During this time, the students will participate in hands on science experiments.
The cost to join is $1.00, which covers the cost of materials.

This year we are excited to offer your 5th grader the opportunity to be a member of S.T.O.M.P – the Bammel Elementary precision step team. As a member of the STOMP team, your 5th grader will: Learn the history of precision step teams; learn the importance of service to others; learn/practice precision step routines and participate in a spring step show at the end of the school year. We will meet every other week from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.

Drama Club is for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who are not only interested in acting, but also writing, and designing and creating scenery and props. We will meet one Tuesday a month, starting September 25, and will be putting on a production at the end of the school year. Participants will be expected to attend all meetings unless prior arrangements have been made. Students who miss meetings will be dropped and will be replaced by students on the waiting list.

The Book Club will be starting October 24th. It's for 5th grade only. We will be reading and discussing the books on the list for THE BATTLE OF THE BOOKS. We will meet each Thursday at 3:15 in the library. Refreshments and snacks will be served. The meeting will adjourn at 4:15. You must sign up for this club in advance and have permission slips to partipate and stay after school.

The Bammel Elementary art department will be sponsoring an Art Club open to 4th and 5th grade students that are in excellent academic standing and willing to work after school twice a month with some parental involvement.
