We will start the year learning about the Properties of Matter! Our class will participate in exploration labs to help understand the concepts that are introduced. Be sure to look for the Safety Contract that will come home during the first week of school.

Throughout the school year, the class will work on activities and projects to help us all become better stewards of our natural resources. One vital component is the ability to incorporate the 3 R's into our daily lives. As a society we must become better at reducing, reusing and recycling. Be sure to ask your child what we have been discussing and encourage him/her to put the lessons into practice at home. It will take all of us to make a significant difference.
