Toilet Training Ideas
Dress your child in clothes that are easy to take on and off.

Never punish or scold your child for accidents.

If your child can't produce anything after sitting for 5 minutes, get up and try later.

Train your child to wash his/her hands every time after using the toilet.

Change diapers or accidents as quickly as possible. Your child will soon want to stay dry.

Do not punish your child by making them stay in wet or soiled diapers or underwear. This is counterproductive and will not teach them to use the toilet.

Do not pressure or nag your child to use the toilet.

Only remind your child to use the toilet when they are showing signs of needing to go.

All care givers should use the same approach in toilet training.

If using cotton underwear, buy more than one 3-pack.

Be prepard to spend time with you child in the bathroom.

Good Luck!
