Hello, my name is Ann Butts. I didn't start my career as a teacher. I was an environmental chemist for 4 years before my husband and I moved back to Texas. I then decided that though I loved the lab, teaching was always in my heart since I taught chemistry labs in college.
In the last year I have learned that I love to teach many classes. Though sometimes stressful - I am greatful for my ability to multitask in my classroom. I took the Generalist 4-8 test and become certified as a generalist along with my science certification. I look forward to a great year teaching 6th grade math, science and world cultures!!!!
