We emphasized the importance of students coming to school dressed for learning and prepared to safely participate in all planned activities. Acceptable and unacceptable clothing is described on page 33 in the Parent-Student Handbook. Please read it carefully.

Shoes designed for running and playing and held securely in place are the best for elementary age children. Slides, very dainty sandals, and shoes with high heels or platforms are not appropriate. Also, shoes with wheels may not be worn to school. Shorts, skirts, or dresses must be mid-thigh or longer and cannot be either tight fitting or oversized.

Pants must be worn at the waist. Cut-offs, tank or crop tops, and shirts and dresses with spaghetti straps are considered unacceptable. Additionally, jogging shorts, wind or biker shorts, and other athletic apparel, including snap down pants, are also unacceptable.

We know that grooming effects the learning environment and the overall school climate. Please help us by sending your children to school neat, clean, and dressed for whatever activities the teachers plan for them.

Atuendo Adecuado

Hemos acentuado la importancia en los estudiantes de venir a la escuela vestidos cómodos y preparados para partcipar y aprender en todas las actividades planeadas. El tipo de vestuario que debe usar a diario y el que no es permitido viene escrito en el manual de Padres y Estudiantes en la página 31. Revíselo cuidadosamente.

Los zapatos/tenis que son para correr, jugar son los mejores que los
niños pueden usar en edades para atender escuela elemental.Huaraches, sandalias, zapatos con tacon, tenis con llantas no deben ser usados en la escuela. Shorts, faldas, vestidos pueden ser a la rodilla o más largos y no deben ser muy apretados ni muy grandes.

Pantalones deben ser a la cintura. Playeras y vestidos con tirantes y sin mangas, shorts para andar en bicicleta y ropa atlética son considerados inaceptables.

Sabemos que el atuendo se refleja en el ambiente y en toda la escuela. Por favor envíe a su hijo limpio y vestido correctamente para lleva a cabo las actividades planeadas con sus respectivos maestros.
