The votes are in and we have a champion, this year’s spelling bee winner is Courtney Gracia, a 5th grader in Mrs. Gerhart's Homeroom class.

Anderson was bestowed a very special honor on Friday Nov.10, 2006. In honor of Veterans Day, the members of Cub Scout Pack 262 raised a U.S. flag that was flown onboard a U.S. Navy Patrol Boat. The flag was donated by Boatswain's Mate Michael Oliver to the school. Oliver, who is stationed in Kuwait, was represented during the presentation by his parents, and children, Emily and Bailey Oliver, who are Anderson students.

On September 28, 2006 at Anderson Elementary was go Astros day!!!!
Most of the staff had on Astros apparel in support of our Houston Astros doing the impossible. Here’s our A.P., Chad Schmidt, P.E. Teacher, Pam Callahan and our Principal Kathy Morrison.
