Importance of Reading in Science
A lot of people think that scientists spend all day in the lab doing all kinds of cool experiments. The truth is they spend more time reading and then writing about their experiments than actually doing them!
When we are learning Science it is really important to read about what we are doing and to write about it. It makes us think about all that we know and look for information about what we don't know. Scientists are continuously learning new things and asking themselves new questions. They share their knowledge through reading and writing.

And, don't forget that science books are really cool and interesting. They tell you a lot of facts about the world around you. Think of something you really like and there has got to be a science book about it. GO READ IT!
